Recently our class has been studying the well-known play, The Crucible. Through our studies we have been able to draw parallels from the Salem witch trials and McCarthyism. Both times were characterized by an intense fear and sense of hysteria that overran rational thought. This website is a collection of our research and analysis of this great work.
